1/6. Define your design in 3 words
CB: Definitely Bold, Essential, and Modernist.
2/6. Inspiration for the collection
CB: We wanted to draw on the bold, curved and decisive lines of Scandinavian heritage in terms of design and architecture, trying to follow them in an analytical search for comfort and compositional grace.
3/6. Favorite piece of the collection
CB: Definitely Bond Lounge: it is the first piece we designed and the one we thought of as gound zero on which to develop the whole collection.
4/6. Why Danao? What makes us special? Your experience with Danao…
CB: Danao intrigued us by the way they approach trends, keeping up with what is happening in the design world today. Moreover, we are fascinated by their continuous connection with leading European designers.
5/6. Favorite architecture project where you would love to have your pieces
CB: The Bond collection would be perfect for the spacious and airy ambients of Villa Domus, one of the masterpieces of Italian modernism, a jewel designed by architect Luigi Carlo Daneri.
6/6. Outdoor memory? Any special outdoor experience you remember
CB: The concept of the outdoors for me is inextricably linked to travel and the strong emotions that only nature can give. Furthermore, I am passionate about sailing, and the contact between the design of a boat and the water is something extremely unique. However, the most beautiful and exciting experience I have had is paragliding from the Swiss mountains.
