FR: Has to be this three floor penthouse in San Juan, PR.

FR: I love the Hudson collection for the combination of finishes; specially the leather accents.
4/8. Why Danao? What makes us special? Your experience with Danao…
FR: Danao has the ability to make classic looks feel timeless using materials and a design esthetic that can be in any outdoor space. My experience with Danao has been incredible. They collaborate with the designer creating a great experience. I just love the quality of the product when faced to the elements, the design feels fresh, classic yet new and modern.

FR: Architects: Zaha Hadid, Antonio Gaudi, Santiago Calatrava. Designers: Brad Ford, Yabu Pushelberg, Kelly Wearstler, Billy Baldwin, David Hicks and Dorothy Draper.
6/8. What means luxe for you?
FR: Luxury is a state of mind. Luxury has a different meaning to everyone. For many, luxury is attached to wealth. For me, as a designer luxury is attached to the highest quality and comfort. As a person luxury means the highest level of quality of life.
7/8. Best outdoor project that you remember
FR: The best outdoor project for me is The High Line in New York City. I used to live right next to it in Chelsea. I enjoyed witnessing how human beings gravitated to the different spaces within the path. Some loved the water feature, some loved reading on bench, some loved seating and watch people strolling by…in It has so many layers; an amazing design allowing different options depending on your mood. Another incredible outdoor project I love is courtyard; La Cour Jardin at the Plaza Athenee in Paris. Classic.
8/8. Outdoor memory
FR: For me an outdoor memory I will cherish for life was watching Strictly Ballroom in 1992 on a summer at the Charles River Esplanade in Boston. Blankets, good food, good wine, a beautiful night and of course the company of my friends… the comfort it made me feel. The simplicity of it all…
